"If you are tired of nail salon (like me), but have nails as thin as paper, this set is just the thing for you. A little bit of tact is required but the handling is easy :) Unfortunately I did not have the spray head for the spray but I know how to help myself. I don't need the brush because it gets completely hard, the glue dries pretty fast but that's not important. I am curious how long the whole thing will last. " |

Refill?
When the modellage has grown out, how is it renewed?
Answer the question
Annette Müller asked this on 07.09.2020
The refill hardly differs from that with gel or acrylic. Simply prepare the nail, shorten it, file it into shape and fill it up with material.

Instruction video for silk technique?
Do you also have a video where you can see exactly how silk nails are made? Is it possible to paint the silk nails with a colour gel? Does the nail have to be roughened?
Answer the question
Diana Syrbe asked this on 06.04.2016
Best answer so far:
Since the fiberglass-silk technique is almost exclusively used for repairs, we have a video only on this topic. You can find it in our nail design videos, if you enter "silk stripe" in the search bar. You can apply a colour gel to the roughened silk nail.

Application with French?
When can the Frenchline be incorporated in the fibreglass modelling? I would like to draw a French line with nail polish.
Answer the question
Sandy Keller asked this on 04.04.2015
You can apply the French line on the last layer. If you use nail polish you should seal with a top coat. For a longer durability you can use white French gel and a sealing gel as a finish.

Working with Tip - Nail extension with fibreglass
Can I also extend my natural nail with a tip in advance and then go over it with the fiberglass strip? I am looking for a UV-free method for at home.
Answer the question
Melanie asked this on 14.12.2014
With a modelling with silk stripes you have to pay attention that also here a proper structure is created. Glue silk strips, resin, activator, again resin, activator until the build-up is stable. Alternatively, acrylic modellage can also be used, no UV equipment is required.
